Bulgarian Team of Teachers

We are Maria and Dani, best friends and language teachers at Vasil Levski High School, Velingrad, Bulgaria. We would like to consider ourselves colourful personalities ( inside and out ). We prefer thinking "Out of the box". Our motto is "Seize the moment and make the best of it".

Iordanka Ovcharova - a German teacher with strong communication skills both in German and English, who has taken part in a number of Erasmus+ projects and is one of the most active teachers responsible for their implementation. I work with students in many extra curricular activities related to multiculturalism and cooperation. I am interested in all cultural new ideas to knit languages in real life practice. I have always been keen on developing upper level team spirit and students' well-being.

Mariya Koutrianska - an English teacher and a valued expert with rich experience in managing successfully Erasmus+ projects as coordinator. I have attended lots of trainings and seminars both in Europe and the USA (The Academy for Leaders in Education, Columbia University, New York). I have taken part in national and international conferences sharing my experience with others. I use CLIL methodology and implement new approaches in teaching with both formal and non-formal methods for improving students' language, social and interpersonal skills.
