Evaluation from the Students Participants of Romania

· SANZIANA PASCALU

The experience I had so far in this project has been amazing. I learnt a lot of new things and accumulated a lot of knowledge that I can now use in the future.(knowledge about renewable energy sources, interview experience etc.)

The most important part of this experience to me was the trip to Cyprus where I met a lot of great and open-minded people that made this trip amazing.

We learnt a lot of things about the enviroment and enviromental changes that will hopefully manage to help us make a change.

· DARIA PAULET

I was really excited for this mobility and I waited a very long time to be able to take part in it. It was totally worth it! This was my first Erasmus project and I can say it was a big success. I made so many friends there, I worked with so many friendly people and I enjoyed every second I spent with them. From eating waffles and laughing together to working really hard on a difficult task, we did everything! I even got to know my classmates better. Everyone was really kind and we drank lots of hot chocolate especially when we were focusing on something important. I visited so many new places and I was amazed by each and every one of it. This Erasmus project changed my life and gave me a feeling of liberty and happiness. Thank you!

The mobility to Cyprus was an amazing experience where I got the chance to meet amazing people from different countries, learning new things and visiting new beautiful places. The tourist village was an amazing place to have activities in, looked amazing and had great food. All the activities had an impact in my life and learned me something new.

The main purpose of the Erasmus+ projects is to improve your English skills, but according to me this type of project gives us more than that.

In Cyprus I made loads of new friendships and got to know the Cypriot culture. The places we visited and the breathtaking views we saw there, made me fall in love with this country.

But the most important part was our meeting with the participants. The Cypriots, the Romanians, the Greeks, the Portuguese the Italians and the Bulgarians, we all became one big family. I hope one day we will have the opportunity to see each other again.

Lilly Vlahova

I was really excited about the mobility to Cyprus because there I got the oppurtunity to learn new things and visit new beautiful places.

For me the best part of it wasn't only doing the tasks but also enjoying the time with the people who made it unforgettable.

Atidje Djivgova

It has always been my dream to take part in an Erasmus+ project and I am so happy that this dream came true.

The mobility to Cyprus was one of the best things I have ever experienced. I got the chance to visit this amazing country and to meet so many lovely people. I fell in love with the place we were staying and it was so hard for me to leave it.

I hope that one day I will get the chance to go back to this incredible place and enjoy it at least one more time.

Letta Buchkova

The visit in Cyprus was such a wonderful experience! I met many people with which we did various types of activities.

Every day we had an organised excursion to beautiful and interesting sightings and landmarks. We visited a couple of ancient monuments. As "free time" we were offered a great tour of Limassol, amazing!

I hope I can join the project again in the future, because it was very beneficial for all the students that participated!

Evaluation from the Teachers of Romania

Larisa Tibucanu

They say "you never forget a first experience" and this is true for me - everything that happened during this week in Cyprus will stay in my memory for a lifetime and it will always be an example to follow. "ClimA: Be the Change!" is full of firsts for me: first Erasmus project with students, first international cooperation, first project written, first international mobility, first time in Cyprus, first time collaborating with such amazing people. Being actually here in Cyprus after all the hectic pandemic situation has been an incredible start for the physical activities of this project and the fact that all the coordinating teachers got along so well, gives me hope and courage for future attempts. Nikolas was an amazing organiser, with a great team of friendly people, dynamic students, incredibly lovely places to see and an overall unique experience! Thank you for EVERYTHING (even the weather 😂)!

Rodica Dascalu

Last November I had the pleasure to participate in a mobility in Cyprus with my colleague Larisa Tibucanu and four students of our school. This mobility was part of the project "ClimA: Be the Change" developed by "George Calinescu" Secondary School.

I felt the warmth of Cyprus right after getting off the plane. The landscape was breathtaking and the accommodation in Hylatio, near Pissouri village, exceeded our expectations. Our kind host, Mr. Nicolas Nikolaou, did a wonderful work at making us feel comfortable and organizing interesting , creative and entertaining activities. All of them revolved around climate related problems. For example, creating a newspaper first page proposing possible solutions for eventual climate disasters. However, my favourite one was the treasure hunt. Students were given a set of questions about life in Pissouri village and they had to wander around and ask the locals for the answers.

I am grateful for having the opportunity to meet incredible people, partners within the project, from different countries. It was a truly inspiring experience to work and spend time with our partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Bulgaria. I hope to meet them again in Iasi.

I decided to join "ClimA Be the Change" in an attempt to educate myself on the environment and the danger of climate change (among others) it has been facing, create some interracial friendships and learn about different cultures and countries including Cyprus which was amazing by the way. Of all my aspirations for this trip, i can fairly say i got everything i wanted and even more and i am really grateful for being given this opportunity.

EFTIXIA DASKALAKI

The project of Erasmus Clima was a unique and unforgettable experience. Both students and teachers from all the countries were extremely friendly and talkative, so that we could feel very comfortable from the first moment. Despite our differences in the culture and the language, I think that we managed to create a special connection with each other and make wonderful memories. We were also able to work together harmoniously and efficiently and learn various important things about climate change and ways of solving this vital problem.

Marifilly Dosi

My trip to Cyprus with "ClimA Be the Change' " was fascinating. The organization was every day perfect, in a friendly atmosphere, with observance of measures against covid, plenty of surprises and work for all participants. I enjoyed the smart group activities in this ideal hotel and the wider area of the beautiful Pissouri, whose animator was the dynamic Mr N. Nikolaou.

I personally boasted to all the children for the attention and respect they showed, the eager cooperation in the subject they were studying and the initiative roles they developed, some of them speaking fluent English and others less well.

A few more days would make me refresh my forgotten English...

What a unique experience!!!

Evie Manavaki

I have a rich participation in Erasmus mobility. But this one was a totally different one, it was unique. All the teams shared real common experiences in a peaceful environment, tackling with important and really interesting activities. The Cypriots teachers and students supported us with all their strength and abilities. Nikolas Nikolaou was the perfect host. He breathed with the students, he really exhausted himself on their behalf. And he never said a single "no" to teachers' desires. I really needed this unforgettable week. May God bless you, my friends...
