Nikolas Nikolaou

Coordinator Teacher of the program in Cyprus. Teacher of Physics 

Physics teacher in high school, BSC, Msc in Chemical Engineering National Technical University of Athens and MSc, Bsc in the University of Cyprus at Physics department) has previous experience by taking part in many seminars and actions related to Environment, Non Formal Education, Entrepreneurship and Discrimination. Lot of experience in teaching sciences with formal and non formal educational methods. Fun of Erasmus+ programs in schools and in Youth sector. Project Manager and Trainer in a lot of Erasmus programs. 

Maria Hadjimichael Pouliaou 

Teacher of Greek, Ancient Greek Language and History 

Secondary teacher of Greek, Ancient Greek Language and History with BA Classics from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and MA in Educational Administration from University of Nicosia. Particularly interested in alternative teaching methods and non-formal education methods. Also interested in research as well as environmental education. Ready to explore throw this Erasmus program environmental issues and take action to improve the environment.

Annita Philippou

Teaching Biology in secondary education in Limassol, Cyprus. I hold a BSc Biology degree from the Kapodistrian University of Athens and a MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford, UK. I am interested in Environmental education and more specifically on how to raise awareness and participation among students on environmental issues. Our students are the future citizens of our world. Their participation is a prerequisite for conserving the environment and Erasmus is a perfect opportunity to engage them in this process.

Elpida Papalazarou

Teacher of Greek Language

Secondary school teacher of Greek Language with BA Classics from the University of Cyprus, and MA Classics from UCL. Other than exploring alternative methods of teaching that could be incorporated in the public schools of Cyprus, I am also interested in environmental issues and practices to reduce our environmental footprint. As free time activities, I enjoy volunteering, dancing, tennis and trying other outdoor activities like SUP and kayaking.

Maria Papapetrou

Secondary school teacher of Mathematics in Limassol Cyprus. I hold a BSC Degree in Mathematics – University of the Aegean, Greece. I am teaching mathematics since 2001. I am very concerned about climate change and I try to be informed about zero carbon emissions EU target by 2050. I believe that Erasmus program will give us the opportunity to explore ways to achieve our target, which is the saving of the planet.

Regina Tsirtou

Secondary school Math teacher in Limassol Cyprus. I hold a BSC Degree in Math from Aristotelio University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

I am very much interested not only to learn,but also to contribute, in any activity that will make our planet greener. Environmental protection, natural resources conservation, and climate control are top pillars for me, and I believe that Erasmus is a great way of doing it,together with our youth. On my free time I like to read, travel and exercise.

Spyros Onisilou

ICT Teacher

I studied at the University of Cyprus from which I graduated in 1998 with a BSc degree in Computer Science. From 1998 until 2002 I worked as a programmer and senior programmer in a private software company. In 2002, I started working as an ICT teacher in Secondary General Education Schools. I participated in several Comenius and Erasmus+ projects related to the environment and renewable energy resources. I am interested in learning about new technologies regarding renewable energy resources, programming languages and artificial intelligence. During my free time I enjoy road cycling, traveling and learning how to play the saxophone.

Yioula Pericleous

Teacher of English Language

 Secondary school teacher of English Language and Literature, graduate of the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling, and staying active, and I try to bring that same energy and enthusiasm to my teaching. As a teacher, I am always seeking new ways to educate my students about renewable energy resources and their importance in creating a sustainable future. I believe that Erasmus will play a huge role in shaping the next generation of environmental leaders and I'm honored to be part of that journey.
